We were tasked to rethink the plan comparison of Blue Shield of California. We created a tool for them.

Paper Sketches

After doing a detailed audit of other tools in the category and some in other categories. I started with paper sketches.

WIRES

After the ideation divergence, I picked 2 solutions and started the wire framing in UXpin.

Mobile Version

Due to content size and side-by-side comparison needs, I stayed away from responsive design and created a adaptive experience for mobile.

Interaction + Visual Design

With the help of a visual designer, we started putting a skin on the wires. I also put a video run-through of the interactions and the tool's features together.

FINAL WORK

After rounds of feedback, amendments, legal, et al...this became the final product
